Celebrating Black History Month

At #LaindonParkPrimary we have been celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth

Across the classes, our children have been learning about Harriet Tubman, Mary Seacole, Rosa Parks, Claudia Jones, and others through interactive lessons

Inspired by Martin Luther King, the children in #Year1 thought up a #Dream they would like for the future and in our #Reception and #Nursery the children listened to some reggae songs and talked about how the #Music was developed and who composed it.
