Nursery

Mrs Beaumont and Mrs Dean would like to welcome you to Acorn Class, our Nursery at Laindon Park Primary School and Nursery.  We want your child's time with us to be happy and rewarding.  We aim to teach them through play and hands on activities, which encourage them to work things out, choose and decide themselves and question what they are doing. We hope to help them achieve and improve their self-care skills, as well as learn to treat and care for each other, their surroundings and belongings with kindness and respect.

Our Nursery is a very bright stimulating environment, we strongly believe that nothing is better learned or skills improved than when you are enjoying what you are doing, therefore we want your child to have fun!

Children attend nursery in the term after their 3rd birthday.  Our sessions are Monday to Friday 8.45am-11.45am and 12.15pm-3.15pm.  Eligible working families can receive 30 hours of free childcare each week.  This is an extra 15 hours of free childcare in addition to the universal entitlement.  Please follow the instructions of the link to apply https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare
