Parental Right to Withdraw from Religious Education (RE)
At Laindon Park Primary School & Nursery, we value the importance of Religious Education (RE) in promoting understanding and respect for different beliefs and cultures. However, we recognize that parents have the legal right to withdraw their child from all or part of RE lessons if they choose. If you are considering this option, we encourage you to contact the school to discuss your concerns and the content of our RE curriculum. This dialogue ensures that decisions are fully informed and in the best interests of your child’s education.
